Snap -sort of. I try to read 1 page of poetry from this lovely book before I tuck into my bedtime novel. Us gardeners know summer has just about gone as we harvest and begin to put our veg beds to sleep - and look up when we hear the geese honking

Having no previous experience of dogs we tried to do everything by the book including spending a fortune on a dog trainer - it wasn’t for us or him. But weekly day care and occasional boarding have been a success. He’s hopeless on the lead & no road sense but otherwise (recall etc) he’s excellent

If you mean the Labour Party please don’t resign - yet. I’m struggling but have to keep the faith if only to stop Reform but I am still in the glow of Bruce & Sir Paul at Anfield - amazing!
