I certainly won't argue. You're the expert here. 😄

Thanks, sounds great! Especially since DS9 is easily my favourite Trek series.

Thanks for the recommendation! I've actually already read it sometimes in the 90s but, to be honest, I barely remember anything of it.
It seems to be worthy of a reread but my Star Trek TBR pile is still quite big...

You're welcome. This was truly a pleasure to read.
After finishing the book I immediately went to rewatch scenes from the first season (Picard's interview, the synth attack, the discussion with Clancy, and the talk with Raffi after the cancellation of the evacuation effort) which all got enhanced.

I still have to read the final book in the series but I can recommend the "The Dagger And The Coin" by Abraham nonetheless.
On the other hand I'd be interested in "Legacy of Ash" since I've got it on my own TBR mountain...

"It's full of great action scenes, dark, with a touch of fantasy – but not in the traditional sense. And his writing is brilliant. He manages to make you laugh and cry at the same time."

I wonder if the scene of Lois Lane interviewing Clark Kent "playing" #Superman was inspired by the famous story of @grantmorrison.bsky.social, @markwaid.bsky.social, and @tompeyer.bsky.social interviewing a Superman cosplayer whose relaxed manner inspired Quitely's rendition of All-Star Superman...

And @torbooks.bsky.social is really publishing the remainder of the Great Schools of Dune Trilogy, Mentats of Dune (1/26) and Navigators of Dune (3/26), with atmospheric new @mattgriffin.art cover artwork in trade paperback format. [2/2]
