Gnathe was a highly skilled and trained Psion who neglected their natural arcane talents. Once they got the tadpole, it hijacked the neural pathways that they needed for psionics. It's not like it went away, and if anything, it got more powerful. But as a ghaik intrusion, it became anathema to use.

Perfect album that came out when I was 16?

Destroyer's Rubies isn't my favorite Destroyer album (idk what even is since it feels weird to compare them) but it was one of the albums I listened to when I was 16 that blew my mind and got me into music. Like, the concept of being really into music.

Luminary isn't going to displace Firebrand, since I will probably always be a Firebrand main, but it's a nice change of pace to smack people with magic fire spirit hammer instead of burning them with magic fire spirit book.
