Thanks, I found it at a artisan market here in MTL. It was handmade by gouineguidoune.tm That's their IG account, I don't think they are on bluesky.

Nice. Is it just me or does he looks kinda like Mike from Breaking Bad?

You could use the broken ones in crafts, like a dice jail to discourage nat 1s, lol

I ran into a similar problem with the idiom WTSHTF, as fans don't exist in my setting. Would your metaphor still work with an arrow or bolt in place of the bullet?

Thanks, it's nice to know that one of my characters possesses such a strong appeal.

Congratulations on the word count.

For the quirky thing I wrote today it would have to be Skazz the Rat-Catcher, a goblin who runs around the Thirteen Down tournament headquarters in a burlap sack dress that is accented by a belt of braided rat tails.

Things could really go either way for me here.

Interesting. So a character might say something like "Bashaba Blessed table!" after hitting their shin on a coffee table?

Its more "here is this character's POV and they could be the MC, unless they get killed off". I find it raises the stakes not knowing who will make it to the end of the story, but that's just my preferred style.

That would definitely make things interesting.

My current WIP jumps between thirteen charecters' POVs as I don't want the MC to be too obvious. Mainly its a way to conceal the MC but also it is a way strip away plot armour during the tournament.

I'm still early on, but I do enjoy the evocative descriptions of the characters. One that stood out is Agatha, who is described as a "gorgeous sofa of a woman" amongst other things.
