To think that back in the day, people were up in arms about the concept of Google reading our emails for ads.

Now, people want to just give Google unfettered access to read, process and analyse all their emails?!

People have lost their bloody minds.

The vast majority of accounts I've blocked here have been obviously bots. Same with Twitter, where I'm coming up to my 19th anniversary there.

Networks like these do improve with who you follow. Curating your 'feed'.

Over there, things seem to improve by 'what' you engage with, rather than 'whom'.

No doubt. I can imagine r/webdev or r/electronics being a very different vibe to r/whatcouldpossiblygowrong or r/howonearthdidthatgetupthere

I've also seen all the dumbass wisecracking thread-jackers everywhere. But easily 'folded away'. Though some are genuinely funny!

The engagement and community is absolutely off the charts compared to places like this.

Not by 'following' people or being 'followed', as these popularity contest networks can be, but just by joining in with interesting topics, posts and threads with interesting people.

Just watched the whole thing again from various angles.

The agent who shot her walks all the way over to the crashed car and then back. Zero injury. Walking bold as brass.

He then gets in another car and is driven away as people shout at them.

These are the facts.

These are incredibly dangerous words.

Seriously.

Hopefully, he'll eventually come up against the 'lead' laws of the world soon.

You lost me at "creation".
