Thank you very much! I have been collecting cottonwood leaves over the past few years and set up my studio lights from time to time to photograph them. I am overdue on photographing my new collection!

It was very eerie. You could feel it. We turned around after this and took cover in our car (steps away). Only a few minutes of huge raindrops and some hail. And then we were good.

Interesting. I always thought Colorado Springs got big snow storms and crazy weather too. A friend that has lived in Longmont for a long time says that about here. Everywhere around us gets 8-10 inches of snow and we get a skiff. Or tornadoes barrel through Frederick and seldom form in Longmont.

Well, NOAA does have a center in Boulder. My parents friend worked their for years and loves watching the crazy weather that forms here! I’ve always thought storm chasing would be fun!

I noticed this person shared your picture without attribution, which bothered me, but I didn’t want to be a Karen or Kevin and tell her otherwise, but you’d think she would know better. Intellectual property is important as a photographer. I plan on blocking her.

I hear you! I only took them on my early morning walks. In the evening I left them home so I could be more stealth and less offensive. It seemed to work.

They both love squirrels and rabbits. My Aushole loves to herd/hunt herons and my Red Heeler likes to chase ducks.

That is great. The sensor is still epic. Nikon is getting really good mileage from that camera!
