It received two full directs, no clue why people think it wasn't a big deal. Also Sakurai prided himself on delivering a full game at launch, they already knew before hand there wouldn't be dlc or humongous long updates, they even said so before the game released..

The game was never planned to have any DLC, it was meant to be a complete and finished game at launch,and it succeeded:Sakurai: "Just so you know: We're not planning any DLC. I think it's a pretty big issue if you're claiming the awards are all about the devs and the people who made the games, and then only allow 2 tickets per game to come to your show before having to pay, especially for indie devs cause tickets are bloody expensive (also "please wrap it up" lmao)
