We are very proud of our team member Viktoria Fries, who recently got not one, but two scholarships to support her thesis work on animal bones from our project: a PROMOS scholarship and a scholarship by the Kölner Gymnasial- und Stiftungsfonds.

We congratulate our student Zixuan Cao from the University at Buffalo, who received the PEARL Award from ELN. Zixuan will develop a master’s thesis for this project by using the XRF method to analyse materials from the excavation and survey to gain insight into trade and technology of past societies

We are incredibly proud that our project member Danjela Dodaj has been awarded a fully funded PhD position through a DAAD scholarship!
Her doctoral research will focus on exploring the relationship between pottery production and use, and the dynamics of settlement during the Eneolithic in Albania.
