I was watching a post from our photographer we booked with in Thailand and it just makes me miss it. Specifically Chiang Mai. What an amazing trip that was. Never did I expect to miss it so much.

I think mine may be the knitting machine I worked on or the vacuum pod. Both had their own design challenges, but have great potential to build on.

Meant to post this awhile ago, but here is a concept of a 3D printed vacuum pod I am working on. It does work well. But there are things I want to improve on with it. There is some flex in it.

Unsure of the slight edge defect but this was the first print in a month or so. Could just be a filament issue. But this is the first shell’d part I’ve printed. Saved 17.5% of filament and shaved well over an hour on print time. This is a router bit holder tray for gridfinity.

Remember #makersky and #woodworking, be safe when working on projects. Had an incident last night. Pretty good cut but all in all very lucky otherwise. So remember and practice shop safety. Including shutting down when you don’t feel 100% present.

Another picture of my laser cart. Honestly for a 20W diode laser this has done everything I’ve needed so far. I do need to put some positive location stops in. But the build has turned out well and this laser is good for a basic entry level machine.

Love when a design comes together. Honeycomb arrived today so I will be able to get the final setup put together. Excited it has a home in the shop now….just wish I had the room haha.

I love always growing in my skills and practice. In this case. I finally made my own 2x4s out of a 2x12s 😂. I didn’t have time to go to my normal lumber source, so instead of dealing with the twisted 2x4s, I dealt with a slightly twisted 2x12 where most of the twist came out. #woodworking #makersky

Wow. Time is flying. Was able to get some yard landscaping projects done before the rain came back. Got a lot of stone and edging in over 3.5 days.

I think one of my issues is that I have to many things I want to do. I mostly focus on 3 or so things. But sometimes one of projects put on the shelf for later just jumps down into my brain. Currently that is a RTS type game idea I had. Maybe I need to just take 10 min and brain dump the ideas.

Just one look at our stop in Dublin. The long hall at the Trinity college while seeing the book of kells was pretty cool.
