企鵝 is in fact a graphical loan from Chinese with the also humorous (but more sensible) meaning of "standing goose"! 企 in some Chinese dialects means "to stand".

this group is dicey enough that wiktionary (in 涙) postulates "perhaps an ancient borrowing" so we can't actually be sure these aren't false!
