all i know about this show is that you like it and everyone else on earth hates it. this makes you alluring like a mysterious creature in the midnight fog

...what it is. which can make rereading a daunting task. soulsov otoh has so much happening at all times; you dont have to wait for the truly juicy parts, as nearly every scene, every line of dialog carries its own flavor of depth, lore, comedy, confusion, horror. it's so much fun.

with every new chapter so far ive been re-reading everything from the start again bc i just know i'd be a bit lost if i didnt. and the thing is!!! it's super enjoyable on first read as well as subsequent reads. like. my point of reference for VNs is pretty much just When They Cry where the pacing is

and then theres the one time she's pouring 4 liters of cheese on her plate that has her beaming with joy. her two primary sources of happiness are alphen and slop-making. she posts her mushy creamy overcooked rice and cheese creations on social media under the hashtag #myslop. i would kill for her.

you have to understand that shionne hardly ever smiles earnestly and joyfully. the only instances are on daek faezol when alphen and her make their promise, then when she's rid of her Thorns and goes to kiss him, after the credits when she's standing in a white dress with alphen (idk what it means)

i think theres no debating shionne's status as a bona fide slop enjoyer. she states she likes food that are very filling, theres the fondue skit where she dumps all the melted cheese on her bread for convenience sake etc. she wants to eat a lot, and fast. she yearns for the slop.
