Here's a female
Stumbled on this old pic. It's a female quetzal. Shot in Santa Elena, Costa Rica, in 2007, by a really nice guide named Eduardo. We saw males, too, but when Eduardo saw that one of them behaved as if a female was nearby, he eventually spotted this one and caught her in his scope.
