I’m struggling on the physical side and working through therapy to maybe getting my right hand into a functional state again. Any kind of therapy is slow and often painful, I hope your finding the resources you need to help you through this tough time.

My memorial weekend was mostly setting up my next weave. Doing a body pillow, pillow case. Did the first inch as a plain weave but will be starting the actual pattern soon. The fact I got the setup done in 3 day week is insane to me. #weaving

My arm wrest of my chair was giving out so I upholstered it with my very first weave probably could make a better version with thinner thread but needed to fix it now before it degraded further

Took me a lot longer than I planned because of some hand and arm pain. Which is still unresolved. (2/2)

5 picks so far. Not perfect but not expecting perfection on the first or third attempt. Might be a setup or tension issue not sure there are more variables here vs a rigid. Overall cloth seems stable which is good enough here.

Done warping did 110 strings times 2. I made a few mistakes but have learned a little just hoping I don’t experience true hell getting it on the loom.

Also decided to … buy a new loom 24” 12 shaft loom. I was going to upgrade my current loom to a cricket quartet but decided… I wasn’t going to be happy with 13.5” weaving width and only 4 shafts. I have bought 2 books to get into new aspects of my journey.
