A lot of things broke my heart but fixed my vision.

Choosing to accept your queerness is an act of service to self. You shut out all the noise and you take the decision to choose yourself even when the world ostracises you. You literally become self reliant on who you are and you build yourself up against any form of resistance to your queerness.✊🏿🏳️‍🌈

THE DODGERS & METS CAN THROW HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS AT STARS LIKE BO BICHETTE, BUT MINOR LEAGUE PLAYERS AND STADIUM STAFF ARE PAID PEANUTS. IT'S TIME TO UNIONIZE, PAY WORKERS FAIRLY, AND PUT FANS AND COMMUNITIES FIRST. BASEBALL FOR THE PEOPLE, NOT JUST BILLIONAIRES. ⚾️✊🏳‍⚧️

You can be the smartest person in the room and still be the biggest liability.

Always know when to speak and when to be silent. Emotional intelligence is very important.

Letting go is difficult but it important to understand when a person has served their time in your life. It’s not easy to lose someone you loved so deeply ,it doesn’t matter how things ended just take joy in the memories and know that you’ve loved and you’ll never stop loving and you will love again

Sometimes hookups are the only place queer individuals feel chosen.

Not because we don’t want love, but because rejection, bias, and silence make us believe sex is the only “yes” we’ll get.

The danger is when that momentary validation starts to feel like the only kind of intimacy we deserve.

In gay dating spaces, there’s often an unspoken hierarchy of desirability.

It’s not just about attraction, it’s tied to cultural biases. The “masc for masc” mentality pushes men to present a certain way: muscular, straight-passing, emotionally detached.
feeling like a performance for approval.

If things go well, we believe our control led to that outcome.

If things go poorly, we assume forces outside of our control conspired against us.

Neither assessment is true. And yet, both are true

I like to have control.

Of my time, my work, and my future.

But control is an illusion — and so is our lack of it.

Control is an illusion we create to justify what happens to us.
