Exactly. Especially with AWD, as long as the roads aren't a skating rink, it is indeed fun as long as one remember that driving in the snow is like making good barbecue...do it low and slow. But, yeah, timing that drive to avoid the other idiots is crucial (especially in a tourist area like mine).

I understand all the downsides to gas stoves, but I also question that $50 price tag. In addition, if one lives in a rural area with a bad electric utility [cough-SoCal Edison-cough] I can still cook a good meal when the power is out without the expense and danger of a generator.
