When Trump embraced Russian support in 2016, it broke decades of bipartisan consensus on Russia as an adversary. Nothing else changed geopolitically - Russia remained an adversary hostile to U.S. interests. But they support Trump, they are white Christians & there's a lot of grift to be had.

He hasn't named one "scholar" to support this assertion & no credible legal experts have endorsed his view. Legal scholars & constitutional experts have said the opposite: This is a correct statement of U.S. military law. Sedition requires an attempt to overthrow the government by force/violence.

Enforcement strategy prioritizes arrests of undocumented workers over dismantling business models that depend on undocumented labor. Workers get arrested, companies get fined. There's no systemic engagement with industry leaders to create sustainable compliance solutions or legal pathways.

That's what Joe Biden & Merrick Garland thought was the right approach to Trump after he attempted to overturn a lawful election & hold onto power. "Let's let bygones be bygones. Can't ruffle feathers. We need to work together in a cooperative way." Just like after the Civil War. Doesn't work.

So if he deployed the military into US cities and told them to shoot protestors, that would be a legal order they should follow? Or if he told them to murder people in boats he suspects as being drug dealers, the military leaders should go on and start shooting?
