Fellow starry eyed space creature! 👀✨ love the colors and the meteor hands!

Maybe I gotta step back and reevaluate my intentions again, but I don’t really know where to go if I do... Surely I’m not alone in this, but my words are gonna vanish into the noise anyways

I really just wanna draw for fun, but it hasn’t felt fun lately. I still do it because it feels unnatural to not draw, but then I get overwhelmed by what I could or should be doing. It’s like I’m wandering aimlessly and then making little marks to make it seem like I’m doing something >>>

Honestly I don’t have some big plan for my art. I’m not planning to sell merch or prints. I’m not building a portfolio to get a job. While I have projects in mind, I don’t see them flourishing into some giant successful product to generate numbers, nor do I want that to happen >>>

While I know there are skills I’d like to improve (get better at backgrounds, composition, color theory, etc.), i can’t help but think “why do I want to learn these things?“ Because it’d be cool I guess? But I don’t think that’s a good enough motivation >>>
