I always try to specify “genAI” when discussing it because “AI” is an extremely broad term that a lot of very different things fall under. Video game NPCs, medical diagnostic tools, theme park animatronics… not all of it is vapid, humanity destroying, money-sucking garbage.

My due date is very close, and all I wish is to welcome my baby into a warm and safe place.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

I often find myself eating healthy not out of a real interest in clean eating but because the other option takes more work. It’s way more effort to make Mac and cheese than corn and spinach and I’m hungry NOW

Are advent calendars (like the ones sold in stores, containing whatever) ever worth it? Everyone I’ve ever tried has been terrible, what is the point. Just buy a bag of ur favorite candy and eat one every day til Christmas

I think no matter your stance on genAI you should be like extremely, extremely, EXTREMELY skeptical about letting a haunted LLM do your taxes. Like even the most no brain ai bros should be like “hmmm not too sure about that one”
