Yes! It's even worse to have a television on. I've been in too many waiting rooms lately, but thankfully they have actually been mostly quiet. If people want music or video, they can bring their ear buds!

I'm so glad I can't name just one - too many from which to choose. 😊

"that" is a pronoun, a determiner, an adverb, and a conjunction. 😁

Yum! I've said that a lot looking at your posts. 😊 Bangladesh reminds me of sweet Waheed, who sat behind me in an economics class in college. It was right after lunch & taught by a nice but hard-to-hear and -understand professor originally from Japan. Waheed & I kept each other awake!

I was unknitting at least half an inch on Thursday waiting for an MRI, because on the second sock I'd knitted past the point where I should have started the top ribbing! 😄 Thank goodness it was on a sock (short rows).

So do I. But admittedly, it's hard to think of a color I don't like in yarn. 😊

Reminds me of raising silk worms once. Mulberry trees lived right outside our apartment, and I worked within close walking distance of home, good for frequent feedings. The large moths were gorgeous that resulted, but lived very shortly after eclosing (exiting the cocoon; I learned a word today).

This makes me wonder about your input... 😂

I had that happen with my cat and a cheesecake once. 😄

Beautiful!

Poor pigs for having been drug into this, and so often being used in negative connotations. I love pigs: very smart, sweet, loving, and cute. Dumpy especially has no resemblance to them. Okay, okay - there is the weight thing, but it makes them cuter while making him even more offensive (possible?).

Well done! 😂

...both of you, not your. (Miss Picky here.)

So glad she's doing better. That chest-sleeping had to be healing for both of your. My young kitty took of her own cone years ago. My vet told me he took it off, but his staff told me otherwise. 😊

Go for it!

True, but they're cows only if they've calved. If not, they're heifers. This one is neither.

Interesting, because this one has no udder but something protruding down from the middle. In other words, Bruce is a male, so he could be a bull or a steer.

You are gorgeous! ❤️

Cool! I had to laugh when I read your post, because when I first glanced at the picture, I thought it was a pygmy owl. I think it's past my bedtime.

😂 Maybe it's a good thing that I rarely drink coffee these days! I do miss it sometimes, and every once in a while I reward myself.

That's one of the top things this former naval officer always did and still does remember. I would have told anyone under my command never to forget it, if it had been necessary.
November 21, 2025 at 3:05 AM
Yes! I thought of you today when I was getting near home and Led Zeppelin's "Good Times Bad Times" came on the radio. I had to wait in the driveway for it to finish, of course. Reminded me that my (Southern Baptist) mom let me buy Led Zeppelin's first album when I was 11.

This reminds me that for crawling babies, just open the bottom cabinet where the pots and pans reside, and give them a wooden spoon for banging. No special purchased toys required. 😄

Your mom probably gets joy from doing this for you.
