I used to get a lot of dudes knitting with their dicks out but either the fiber arts feed figured out how to stop that or I blocked the worst offenders

When I worked at a mill, the E&I guys would fry up 3-4 turkeys for Thanksgiving. The meat was so tender and juicy that shredding and serving in large pans was the only option.

We’d do batches of scalloped potatoes that involved 5 lbs of potatoes and 1 quart of heavy cream in every batch.

As for the turkey, carving is overrated

Getting the meat off the carcass and available for serving is more important

Thus shredding is perfectly acceptable

Either get an extra set of hands or invest in a swift

if you buy from a LYS, they’ll usually have a swift and can wind your skeins for you
