12/? - Also on my to-trial-run pile is The Dark Eye. I absolutely love the art of the new edition and collected the books just on the strength of the art. Unfortunately, I haven't geared up to run it yet due to the complexity of the character creation and the resolution mechanic.

11/? - On my to-trial-run pile is this one. Against the Darkmaster shares a ton of DNA with some old favorites like MERP and Rolemaster and I'd like to give it a go someday.

10/? - Forbidden Lands is one I've looked at several times and it's still on my to-run list. I'm not 100% sure about the system, but the elements of exploration of the unknown keep drawing me to pick it up and look at it again.

9/? - Rogue Trader is a system I want to go back to at some point. It's an interesting group dynamic and an interesting power dynamic to play. You have a lot of resources at your disposal and characters are relatively powerful. Everyone has a role and I think it works well.

8/? - Runequest: Roleplaying in Glorantha is on my to-run list, but I'm not sure I understand the game's style well enough to do it the justice it needs. I like the system and the setting, but it's a lot to absorb.

6/? - Back to 2d20 for a moment, I really like the system. I think the post-Conan variants look better than that implementation and Acthung! Cthulhu is one of them. I prefer the more pulp style for a horror campaign and the wealth of pre-written adventures helps. Punching Nazis is a bonus.

6/? - Back to 2d20 for a moment, I really like the system. I think the post-Conan variants look better than that implementation and Acthung! Cthulhu is one of them. I prefer the more pulp style for a horror campaign and the wealth of pre-written adventures helps. Punching Nazis is a bonus.
5/? Scion 2nd Edition is something I'm currently running a test game with. I love the conceit and the setting, but the book is a mess and hard to decipher the rules from, hard enough that it took me a long time to even get to a point where I felt I could *try* to run it.

4/? Dune is on my list of games to run, particularly the Agents of Dune box set. I think the 2d20 system works well for the setting with the mechanics reinforcing the setting, which is a big thing for me. It helps that I have a Dune fan in one of my regular groups, so I'll get to this sometime.

3/? - I adore the Stars Wars/Genesys system that was created by FFG (currently with Edge Studios). It's the right mix of crunchy narrative mechanics for my brain to latch onto and I think the custom dice add a good bit to the mechanics. I just wish it wasn't such a hard teach.

2/? - Pathfinder 2nd Edition is my go-to fantasy game and I absolutely love most of the Remaster changes. My group is playing a number of games and I always look forward to them.
