I am trying to resist my travel anxiety‘s compulsion to buy more books. So far I have ‘The Spear Cuts Through Water’ and ‘Alien Clay’ - which should be enough. I’m not travelling until the 13th, so let’s see if I keep the compulsion at bay.

It feels vaguely ironic that I have gone to the seaside today to avoid the heat. I think it’s 8 degrees cooler here than in London right now. I’m not mad about it though.

Garden listening today is the new Seventeen. My favourite of the solo tracks so far are Gemini and Skyfall, which is not what I would have predicted going in.
