ill-Kay azis-Nay!

I adore steatopygia; furthermore, I am unable to disassemble.
This is one of the finest pieces of writing in the English language. (The screenplay, not your post. Not that there's anything wrong with your post - it's very nice.)

Umm, orangutans aren't native to S. Africa, so why would we send Dr. Zaius?

My philosophy of procrastination: the sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to get caught up.

You can't monetize a list of simple text instructions with accompanying photos.

(Oh, wait. It's more like 40 years for robotics; 30 years for NAFTA. Jeez, getting old sucks.)

To be fair, the blue collar massacre already happened 30 years ago when robotics destroyed manufacturing jobs.

Who would have ever predicted that Joe Rogan would steal the title of "Shittiest News Radio Alum" from Andy Dick?

Apparently, for a certain breed of leftist, humor is a tool of bourgeois oppression that must be stamped out in order for the global revolution of the proletariat to take root?

CBS, huh? I wonder who's in charge over there?

You can certainly settle for Newsome in the general election, but we have a primary process specifically so we DON'T have to settle.

We should all be looking for the BEST candidate, not the most "electable", since that's proven time and again to be a losing strategy.

Oh, no. I haven't listened to the show in ages, but Jim was legit one of the funniest, most talented guys in the biz.

No, Pirates had a code that they followed
a man with a beard says the code is more what you d call guidelines than actual rules
Alt: Gif of quote from Pirates of the Caribbean - "The code is more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules."

No, corporations still have full time employees who are making low wages.

This would incentivize them to FURTHER eliminate full-time employees from their payroll in order to skew that median salary upwards.

Unless, of course, I'm missing something.
December 10, 2025 at 10:00 PM
This plan would only have the desired effect if that could be prevented. It would have to include full and part time workers, and find some way to figure in independent contractors.
December 10, 2025 at 8:41 PM
Then this would incentivize moving lower paid workers to part time status, or farming employment out to temp agencies, and only keeping the highest-paid employees as full-time.
Companies would want the median salary as high as possible while still paying employees as little as possible.
December 10, 2025 at 8:41 PM
Does this include what the company pays "independent contractors" and part time employees, or just full-time 40 hr employees?

Are benefits included in the calculations?

I'm trying to think of the loopholes corps could exploit, and unintended outcomes.

See, when they say they are "originalists", that just means that they agree with the "original intent" of the founders - that black folks should be property, and women should be treated like property.

Yes, even Thomas and Barrett.
