Beautiful yarns, but choose your project wisely as the thickness varies within and between skeins.
Lovely effect, but it can be a problem with getting exact measurements. The size of the squares in this blanket varied by up to 2 cm, so it took some effort to arrange!

This weeks theme is gifts.
After reading posts about creating two right-hand mittens by mistake I have decided to do all the right hands and then all of the left!
Great tip to knit them inside out in the round so the floats aren't too tight!

There was a basket of beanies so people could grab one if needed in the waiting room. So I had time to wip up a few and a jumper for him.

Well, it was almost 40C in ##Naarm (#Melbourne) this week and we have smelt bushfire smoke all week.
But my hubby has just started treatment for cancer so I needed a project to keep my hands busy in waiting rooms etc.
