Agreed. I have a grace period too. And I've started closing my dropbox at 9 pm because I want to send a signal that it is not healthy or normal to be doing schoolwork at working at midnight.

I am angry at their -- unannounced but in hindsight planned -- assault on public services like the post office! It made the Royal Mail worse & more expensive, & the US too! We didn't vote to enshittify public services! Nation-building means stronger, more caring available services coast to coast!

2020s proving once and for all that it's a bad idea to let rich businessmen with no electoral track record of consensus-building, give-and-take, or life-worn humilty parachute into the top job.

My sense is that they are self-dealing grifter capitalists and evangelical-inflected social revanchists
They passed a parental consent for pronouns, let that nutty Queen of Canada stay for years, lots of dubious business jaunts and deals. Cut subsidies for arts and intraprovincial bus service.

They also don't know actual content, so they have to look up nearly everything. I get frustrated w admin pressure to focus our case for existence on skills development when we really should emphasize that accurate content knowledge is crucial nowadays.
