But there’s a disconnect there because at the heart of this, his police are not protecting protestors. It’s not like in Oregon. In Oregon, the state police actually tell ICE, “You can’t do that, and we’re going to arrest you if you violate these people’s rights.” In Illinois, instead of ICE violating our rights, the governor allows his to police to violate our rights.

@pfrazee.com i’m kind of a dumb guy, but i’m confused why Link’s account is banned across apps? This seems to be at odds with what you’ve previously said about PDS bans and when they should happen.
An account takedown on a PDS is a big deal because it affects all applications. PDS operators should be reserving the takedown for network abuse and illegal content, if possible. Migrations should also be available post takedown, to the extent that a PDS can offer it without enabling complete resource abuse. I was surprised to discover recently that our account suspension system has been operating entirely at the PDS level.

The army attacked us with tanks and shelling from every direction. We had to flee and leave everything behind... the tent that sheltered us, the food we lived on, even our clothes. We escaped with nothing but our lives. Today, we’re sleeping on the streets no shelter, no mattress, no blanket to protect us from the cold nights or the dust of the day. We have elderly parents and children with us, scared, hungry, and exhausted from fear and running. The sound of explosions surrounds us, and the sky hasn’t been silent. I am in urgent need of financial help. We just need someone to hear our voice and feel our pain. Even UNRWA shelters have refused to take us in because they are overcrowded. I need to buy a tent and mattresses for the parents. My brother's kids haven't eaten for two days. Please, I am in desperate need right now.
