For example, my grandmother had six kids in eight years. My dad went to hospital for a year while they tried to fix his hip. He saw his dad twice and his mother never over that time. He was 2. All she did was wash laundry and feed her family. All day.

There was no specific purpose for my memory just wanted to share. Every generation deals with something but social media and digital reporting does make things feel much worse

One of my first memories as a voter was 8% interest rate on student loans. So many people I knew took them out and have never returned to live in New Zealand. They were all comparatively rich to most as well with wealthy parents & options. 90s wasn’t a good time
