happy halloween!! unfortunately gengar still does not realise his little son is actually a ditto (but is very impressed with the mega size of this ‘costume’) ;v;

An animated short of Gengar and his little Gengar-transformed Ditto ‘son’ preparing for a night of trick-or-treating. Gengar dresses his ‘son’ in a sheet with two cut-out holes and is amused. When he pulls off the sheet to make adjustments, his ‘son’, assuming that Gengar wants him to be a scary ghost for Halloween, transforms into a big Mega Gengar form. Gengar, not knowing his son is a Ditto, is taken aback with shock. Cut to next scene showing Gengar, very earnestly but struggling to carry a happy Mega Gengar on his back while out trick-or-treating with Haunter and Gastly. Haunter and Gastly aren’t quite sure what to think about Gengar-Ditto’s new ‘costume’.

happy cosy season! this was part of my seasonal ACNH series from some time ago - wanted to give it a little update with some tiny added movements <3

this was my first story-based short of Gengar and his Ditto ‘son’! just a little fun thing - i love imagining that Gengar is trying to be a good role model but is constantly befuddled by Ditto’s transformations <3

inspired by the cutest Godiva x Pikmin collab i picked up in Tokyo! it reminded me of how much i’ve wanted to draw Pikmin for ages 💖
