Absolutely this. I spent last year angry, the took to bed at new year with depression, I did unpack and stay for longer than I should have. I’m hovering at the moment, but I think it’s kind of like the stages of grief. I’m on my way out of the depression (I hope).

I’m so glad you survived. The world needs you. 🧡 It’s really hard leaving the pity party, especially when on your own. But I’m trying and taking each day. I’m naturally negative, so I’m trying to remain positive each day. Thank you for the support. 🥰

It’s bonkers. It was “central “ too, so both side are affected. But my left side more so and my right works but has reworked incorrectly. I’m starting to come out of the depression and sadness so hopefully on the way up. Thank you ☺️

I was about to do my nails and felt a migraine coming in. Had a zigzag aura and went back to bed. Woke up had dinner then the same thing happened the next day, but I was throwing up. Didn’t get a single “stroke symptom” until the evening of the second day and then was left in A&E for 4 days.

My fingers are crossed for her. And you. They cannot determine what caused mine but I suspect it’s high blood sugars.

Oh great. Hopefully she will start improving once she rests up. I need to start taking my meds too. I’m glad I wasn’t on my own either. Glad she’s got you. 🧡

The stroke association sent someone out to visit me a year ago and haven’t heard from them since. Absolutely zero help or support from them. I’ll speak to GP beginning of June and ask. Thanks.

Oh bless you both. Hope he’s improving. I’ve been thinking of doing similar because of the same reasons. They alll seem to fave given up on me but I’m not sure how to find private physio. Also need a carer and cleaner. It’s all so unfair isn’t it.

I’m inclined to agree with you. I haven’t read the article, but I had a stroke last year at the ago of 38 and the recovery support has been pretty awful.
