I think I've started to realise that Patches is kind of where I want to be mentally. They're chill and able to roll with the punches, not constantly feeling like a hand grenade wrapped up in trauma responses.

After far too many years of hoping I could just save up enough money to get private surgery, I have finally emailed my doctor to put me on the GIC waiting list for bottom surgery
It'll be an insanely long wait for that still, but it's better than the current course of things
