I've noticed this for *years* and I hate it. I can't tell if I hallucinated it changing it back *again* when the rest of the sentence made it clear the first form was correct, but even so it shouldn't changed it in the first place!!

Yeah, any USB device can do it; I got blue screens from a USB wifi adapter when I was in college. I think it's because device drivers run with kernel level permissions, the same cause for the whole Crowdstrike outage a while back

I don't know how it works exactly, but it's largely normie stuff for me too. There is a "Popular With Friends" feed I use which does a fair job of showing me stuff from other furs though!

Yeah, I'm guessing some people learn to like it due to peer pressure and resulting repeat exposure. People on Reddit have said they just randomly learned they liked it after previously disliking it though, so maybe changes over time in the foods you eat influence if you like the taste of beer?

I've almost universally heard that it's an acquired taste, but given its popularity, that just doesn't make sense to me. I like sweet ciders, and ordering alcohol at restaurants is ungodly expensive, so I've just had cider when it's available and water when it's not.

Not sure if you'd be interested in trying it out, but the Firefox fork I use, LibreWolf, seems to automatically remove any AI features before they even make it to me
