Ha! It wasn't. I don't think ToFF has the money to spend on buying art by artists other than Tom. Besides, they already have a sizable collection of original art by Michael Kirwan that he "donated" in consideration for a place to live for a while.

That said… it is tough to overlook the fact this company censors art images on their own website. That they are located in Texas (a state with a terrible record for gay equal rights) is also not a great sign. Yet, I am in Florida a state with probably a worse record for equal rights. So, who knows.

If you overlook the red flags, this could be a start-up trying to offer a service to erotic artists that is difficult to find. As someone who represents a couple gay, erotic artists, I know it is tough to find companies willing to print marketing materials/merchandise with gay sexual images.

Certainly there are some red flags with the website design, but I would instead suggest that artists not block the account or they may not notice if their own work and copyrights are being abused so they can then take action to protect their work.

That is a more reasoned approach to this seemingly new vendor/business venture.
