P.S. - I forgot to add: I've decided to make Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (dub) my "treadmill" show. Not my first time with it, but the last was long ago. Also, in recalling my media habits, I omit my concurrent manga series. There are a few.

Thanks, love. 🫂 Often it feels like my woes boil down to this image. I could be doing more to help myself, but it's difficult to draw energy from an empty well.

I'm glad it's all happening, though. Lots of folks still playin' it. Although I hate that Animal Crossing introduced crafting, that you'll be able to bulk craft using materials from storage is a game-changer. I think of it as: Now that this is out of the way, an altogether new game can come later.

I haven't been a fan of Animal Crossing all these years necessarily for the "dollhouse sim" aspect of it, so most of what's to come doesn't do much for me. I'll be passing on the NSW2 Edition upgrade as well, cheap as it is. I've never needed more visitors. Like, there's still fuck-all to do.

During the update video, I was excited at the prospect of island mini-games when I saw Kapp'n's family return. Alas! The new furniture and roaming tourists will offer some refreshment. This new Dream World update is nice for those who wanna experiment with layouts without any real consequence.

(Metroid Prime 4: Beyond)
There's not much to say about this yet other than I'm interested in it. It's a priority for me given how many years we've anticipated its arrival. Not only that, it drops on my birthday (Dec. 4th). Hehe. I may try mouse controls for a little bit and then go back to gyro.

(Persona 3 Reload)
My progress is: I'm in May, just after midterm exams. I'm about to grind out the next section of Tartarus now that Akihiko is available. Had started this months ago, but had taken a break to focus then on The X-Files. And I fear soon I will put it down again to focus on...

(Stranger Things)
I'm in too deep not to keep up with this. I watch new seasons as they come, but I've never actually gone back and watched any of it again. I'm down for what they're trying this season, with pairs of characters or others' utilization. This is a Mrs. Wheeler fan account, btw.

(Pokémon Concierge)
I came back for Episodes 5–8 which had dropped in September, but the truth is I restarted this from the beginning on account of it's short. Pokémon Concierge is brain bleach, pure and simple. I do raise an eyebrow at Dan's hiring. Retirement? Living near your son? You thought.

(Predator: Badlands)
I haven't decided yet whether I like this film more than Prey. It's interesting to me it follows a young member of the Yautja and his journey, turning the formula—and his culture—a little on its head. There's direct sequel potential. This series is hit-or-miss for me.

(Pluribus)
This season is ongoing; five episodes are out now. It has that touch I like in Vince Gilligan's work, and I think Rhea Seehorn is doing well with her character. The premise invites you to ask if you'd fight it or surrender yourself. It's not about Gen. A.I., but it's not 'not' applicable.

(Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment)
I used rewards to buy this for $20 off, which feels right for what you get. It's more Hyrule Warrors, which is to say I like it! I've 100% it, incl. that small update. Age of Imprisonment is a necessary companion to Tears of the Kingdom in my opinion. Ardi. :)

(Frankenstein)
I've seen this thrice. Needless to say I've come away positive on it. In particular, I think its soundtrack is phenomenal. I'm unsure about some of the changes from the text, but I understand certain liberties had to be taken to support its themes and introduce new ones.

(Luigi's Mansion)
I played this on Nintendo Switch 2, via NSO. I had sampled this game at friends' houses growing up, but had never owned it. Had fun, though the X- and Y-axes on the Poltergust 3000 would throw me off. It was toward the end of the game I realized I was sick.

For what it's worth, I have attempted running again at least a couple times. I can't hold it as long, obviously. Funny to say in the same year I've twice over hit my all-time personal best. I've grown a bit more lax with my stretching, too, or else I imagine I'd spend too much time on the floor.

It's dispiriting, and it sends my brain the wrong message: that seemingly the only time I lose mass is when I go hungry. I saw the number drop the week I was sick because I couldn't risk the upchuck, then two weeks later it shot back up. I've been feeling upset with myself—one of many contexts.

I got sick at the turn of November, and for the first time all year, for three days in a row I was forced to skip my walk. It set a precedent; I would skip twice more since.
My diet has worsened in terms of self-control, and despite daily 4 mph walks, I've been seeing the scale slowly regress.
