I’m not going to accuse anyone of transphobia or bigotry but holy shit that feels really bad.

It has ADHD pacing! Instant dopamine hits! Was perfect for someone with the attention span on a gnat like me!

The reason I hadn’t renewed it yet was because my name change is still processing and will hopefully go through soon, so I was planning the get a new passport under my new name. But unfortunate I have this one with my deadname for another 5 years.

But now I know, and you do too.

I knew my passport was getting close to expiring. I just thought it would be okay since it’s 2 months away. 

Don’t make the same mistake I did. It’s not fun, it’s very stressful and expensive, and 100% my fault for not knowing. I won’t be making that mistake again.

Gambling addiction doesn't come from winning, it doesn't come from spending money, it doesn't even come from playing (you can develop a gambling addiction from watching someone else), it comes from the dopamine hit from the anticipation. And yea, lots of games are doing exactly that.
