It looks amazing at night, too. I got there just in time to watch it power down for the night.

As The Sandbox Game’s Edu PgM, I help people learn to play, create voxel assets, mint them as NFTs, and build games without code (technical + creative edu).

I support devs, production staff, marketing, studios, partners, and community.

Here to learn, find cool games, and enjoy creative community.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁

What are you looking forward to enjoying today?

Mom made strawberry rhubarb pie. I’m excited to try it. Thanks for sharing your favorite with me today, @paengilis.bsky.social! 🫶🏻

I’m also making two of my husband’s low sugar favorites: pumpkin pie done, cranberry sauce later.

⬆️ That experience led to my role at @thesandboxgame.bsky.social.

I’ve supported edu partners, studios, devs, creators, players, and digital property owners (NFTs).

I’ve learned about blockchain, pro game design, and software dev cycles.

Our global team is amazing!

Hey, Becky! 😊 I definitely need to be on LinkedIn more regularly.

Mike and I have written recommendations for each other and shared about our projects there. I posted and pinned the story (X, then here) to feature this major turning point in my career and the impact Mike’s leadership made on me.

The biggest landmark was the Capitol Building, which took about 2.5 weeks to build and detail between Mike and I after positioning a base model.

The MLK Day event was held weeks after the January 6th, 2021 riot that led to severe damage on the Capitol Building, hundreds injured, and deaths.

We detailed many buildings on a generated map donated by GeoBoxers for immersion.

For me, it was a crash course in using Java edition, specifically to learn how to build fast with the WorldEdit mod, find compatible plugins to suit the project's needs, and help manage servers.

In 2020, I joined a project to deliver a virtual alternative for MLK Day, honoring social justice leaders from past and present with a guided March on Washington tour to learn their stories.

My mentor @misterwashburn.bsky.social was the mastermind of this wild idea!

Last weekend at a local zoo, with displays up for a lantern festival. We didn’t get to see them lit up at night, but they were beautiful!

My work involves a lot of analysis of games and documentation.

Lately, I’m hooked on Plate Up!, exploring automations and Halloween event enchantments.

Clean, simple UI and docs. 💙 The game has its flaws with balance, so I prefer to roll the dice and fail tons in Turbo mode.🤣

My work in #Web3 is both:

- being a translator between devs and users so users understand our platform and software features

- being a translator between production staff (artists, level designers, narrative designers, QA, etc) and creators so they know how to make fun, optimized games and assets
