FYI, the link to the article prompts for the installation of an app, not the article. While I've not noticed this before with your links previously, this feels "weird" and raises the cybersecurity hackles on my neck. ☮️

Great article. I especially loved the closing paragraph reminding us to not fall for the next big thing before we have everything else right.
Right now, most things AI seems to just be hype designed to extract more cash from people.

The ONLY benefit of Sam's Club over Costco is the ability to "Scan and Go" from their app - you scan the stuff you put in your cart, checkout/slide to pay, and walk out the door (might have to show the QR Code, they might have to scan a couple of items in the cart still).
It's awesome CX.

This is the best part of government shutdowns.
