I checked out the new Federal Way Link station today. Federal Way makes the area so welcoming with a crosswalk where people have to wait on a narrow island in the middle of a stroad.

Here's a news article repeating Seattle Mayor Harrell's claims that he's been critical of the Regional Homelessness Authority from the start.

Unfortunately, Ikea has since removed the seating. I don't know if it was their own volition, or outside pressure.

I saw a Waymo dropping off in this spot today. It's right before where the collision occurred. I suppose the bike lane gap is there so cars can turn right onto Stevenson but it's used as a dropoff.
A kermit painted bike lane abruptly ends so that cars have a turn lane onto Stevenson. There are no "No Parking" signs and the curb is not painted red.

The Waymo was parked somewhere in this section pictured here. Although signed as no parking except for 6 wheel commercial vehicles, I see cars parked there all the time. Just past mid-block, is a passenger drop zone & the bike lane abruptly ends.

Then those flexposts were removed last week.

The mixing zone has really shitty markings.
7th street bike lane on 24th May, with 1 flexpost left. The median paint is nearly gone. photo of 7th street bike lane on 3rd June, with 10 new flexposts on the median between the lane and traffic. the median paint is barely there tho. photo of the 7th street bike lane on 14th Jun. The flexposts are gone and cones demarcating the bike lane are placed inside the lane itself. construction equipment is stored in the middle vehicle lane, and the median is used by vehicles.

On the 24th I put in a SF311 request to get flexposts on the bike lane on 7th between Mission & Market. There were like 4 when I moved here, and only 1 (very sad looking) one was left. There were 10 (TEN) fresh flexposts separating the lane from traffic today.
