I still think the 3DO is the future. With major game studios selling to UAE and Microsoft trying to get out of gaming altogether, Trip Hawkins' idea of making the console "developer friendly" (in terms of royalties) is more progressive than anything Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft has done in decades.
