​Since 1995 Kingfishers Bridge Nature Reserve has transformed 250 acres of farmland into a variety of wetland habitats. It is now a vital sanctuary for numerous endangered species of the Cambridgeshire Fens.

😍 Our new East Hide opened this week!

A short, flat walk from the car park and with floor-to-ceiling windows, it's our most accessible hide yet.

It's the perfect vantage point for winter wildlife-watching in the wader meadows, from Konik ponies and water buffalo to lapwing, linnets and harriers 🦅

🎨 A botanical illustrator based in Comberton, Tina specialises in East Anglian and wetland wildlife.

🐃 Visitors often ask why we keep Asian Water Buffalo on the Reserve. We explain that they fill a vital ecological niche left by extinct wild cattle, managing fenland habitat.
