yeah I mean the performance might deter now but TWDr shows they seem to be OK with just turning dots into modern animations and not bothering with clips. like TWD, trek has some good dots to work with.

Keep in mind, I am not Becker - but if I had to simplify, they made a ruling in the moment with the info they had. New info came to light days later, after the ruling had already been made. If stuff had been better communicated/handled in the moment, maybe they would have made a different ruling.
