The main IV drugs that fit “frequent MRIs” for safety monitoring are the new anti-amyloid Alzheimer’s infusions, especially Leqembi (lecanemab) and Kisunla (donanemab). These require scheduled brain MRIs to watch for amyloid-related imaging abnormalities (ARIA), mainly brain swelling or microbleeds.
