Yesterday my 9 yr old granddaughter witnessed a man being chased across yards & grabbed by masked gunman in their alley (Oak Park). A man was pulled off a lawnmower. Fences broken, gates shattered. Men were being zip-tied and thrown into black SUV’s. Helicopters fly in the neighborhood. It’s wrong.

Absolutely. Due process is a guaranteed right. Murder, torture, and maltreatment of vulnerable people are crimes.

I go there all the time. My son and his wife lived there for years. My Senators & Reps live there. It’s always been a great and fascinating city!! But we’re from Minnesota, not Iowa, Idaho or Florida, so maybe the evil doers can sense that and leave us alone 🙄.

If he feels this way, why does he do nothing to reign in this abuse of power?? His comments sound reasonable, but his (and Congress’s) actions are not.

I believe Trump was president for the three largest national protests ever: The Women’s March, the George Floyd protests and No Kings.

Excuse me? “Let’s talk about things that are really serious.” These folks ignore rape, domestic violence and sexual abuse as if it doesn’t matter. It matters to the victims and anyone with morals and values.

I sure hope you’re correct…nothing else has seemed to phase folks. And how will ICE manage all those airbase employees? Hyundai wasn’t a very reassuring example of how he manages even our most friendly “foreigner” visitors and collaborators.

Republicans best beware of this (and other illegal/unethical EO’s and action’s), as it sets precedent - especially with the Supreme Courts inexcusable head nods. Do they really want to be on the other side of this kind of action when things flip? And they will flip.

Exactly. Even if he does something helpful, the entire rest of his resume disqualifies him. The Nobel Peace Prize surely has standards and being a convicted felon for crimes against women must be cause for disqualification!?!

The attempt to link their made up “Antifa” bogeymen with the death of the Hortman’s is absolutely obscene. The man who shot our MN legislators and their families, killing two remarkable people, was a right wing, anti-abortion murderer. How does she sleep at night & look in the mirror every morning?

It is my sincere hope that he was never even considered for the prize. It would be a travesty and taint this prestigious award.
