You’ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who’s coming to save you?

I'm absolutely fine
a man in a suit is holding a flashlight and a woman in a striped shirt is walking behind him
Alt: The Eleventh Doctor is holding a flashlight and saying "Dinosaurs! On a spaceship." while Amy is grabbing his arm to pull him to safety.

It's the paucity of ambition in England that's so depressing. Oh look we haven't put prescription costs up when Scotland, Wales and NI have abolished them. Oh look we aren't putting train fares up when Scotland has scrapped peak fares.

No. The windmill wasn't converted. It was just built in that style. The place at the other end was Lavin's Tobbaconist and sweet shop. Used to run by a lovely Irish couple. The hairdresser's was formerly Eileen's. The takeaway was mum's shop - Mary's.
Thank you so much for posting.

Absolutely.

Also lovely, and completely understandable, that John donates to MS Scotland.

No. Just the sort of thing my neurodivergent brain enjoys. There's a tangible result at the end of it.

Clive Lewis might be prepared to give up his seat for him.

A few bizarre English rules. Cancer related drugs are free but the rest of your non cancer meds aren't. The balance of a prepayment certificate is not refunded if you move to a devolved nation. There's no exception for those with a life threatening condition such as asthma, which isn't curable.

During the last EU elections Yaxley Lennon was on the ballot paper in the Manchester region. I contacted the relevant elections office and asked how someone with a conviction for fraud was on the ballot and was met with a brush off.
We need not only better candidates but tighter rules.

Seriously. My husband's second cousin (who also eventually went to the US to work in the music business) used to work with him.
