The Mayor should ask for c/b analysis of replacing diesel pump w/ on-shore electric system. Benefits: avoids risk of fossil fuel in reservoir; instead of 'emergency system' an electrified system allows better utilization of water storage which allows for more hydro production & stream flow for fish.

Seattle is already a standout in many ways - e.g., commercial energy code for new construction/remodel is strongest in the state. (State code is mandated for residential.)
