What changed was that they were going to have to release the files. But they don't have to do that as long as there's an active investigation concerning the files, according to the law. It was a smart move. Completely unethical, but smart.

I should have taken a chair but they said there would be parking and chairs. Only so many turned out that there wasn't anywhere near enough. People were having to park at the city park several blocks away and walk in.

I felt something that I hadn't felt in a long time. A sense of community. This town doesn't turn out for anything other than a ball game, so it made me proud.
