I finished a few hours ago and got distracted by the mess I had to clean up. Pizzelles!! I did one batch with anise for us OGs and another with just vanilla for the non-Italian-Americans.
Ran out of steam so I’ll decorate the gingerbread and post the final plate tomorrow!

The second half of that batch fared better but certain cookies spread more than others. Maybe I didn’t mix the butter enough? Eh. The divine mysteries of the #cookieparty are always a thing.

Hm. This second batch of lemon crinkles spread a lot, even though I chilled them for a few hours. Oh well. The decent ones will make the cookie plate. The others will be for us. 😊 #cookieparty

Lemon crinkle dough in the fridge to chill! If it wasn’t verboten to eat raw cookie dough I’d probably tell you it’s very smooth and lemony.
I’m baking the sugar cookie dough - I premade that and froze it in balls.
