And just like that, my 2025 temperature cross stitch project is complete. What started as a “sure, why not?” idea at the very beginning of my cross stitch journey turned into one of my favorite creative projects of the year. Over the course of 365 days, 2,250 stitches, 30 colors, and 12 little cats, I stitched the average daily temperature in Burke, VA for all of 2025.
