You know the only thing I did differently this time around was plant in a grow bag. I'm gonna see if I can have similar success with sweet potato slips in grow bags next year because I've not been successful with those.

Thanks! This was my first time using a grow bag instead of planting directly in the ground and I think that helped a lot.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to this one after it ages a bit because prior to bottling the taste was mildly acidic on the tongue and quite mellow. Very unique!

I feel you! 😆

Absolutely! Most times I've taken it recently it's only been slightly less expensive if at all. And I'm just not a fan of the hunger games boarding although I know that's supposed to be changing. I'll stick with Delta preferred. 😂

Ohhhh yeahhhh I started that one a few months back when my fig trees first began to fruit. 😆 I didn't get enough this year to make jam or anything so I decided to use the handful I did get to make vinegar instead. I'm determined to use as much of what grows in my own dirt as possible.

I know!!! I've been itching to try it since I finished my first batch and this fig batch is going so well. My goal is to have three vinegars and a fermented hot sauce available by Christmas

Spot on! Schumer is ineffective and needs to be replaced/primaried. He can't hold the senate caucus.

Great! I was initially planning to use store bought yogurt as my starter too and then I saw this one online. I may test both at the same time.

Hahaha 😂 I was def thinking this when I washing it and pulling it apart. I was like yeahhhh I definitely killed it. Surprise surpriseeeeeeee she lives!!!

You should! I bought a Greek yogurt starter culture back in the summer during my class and never got around to trying it. Thinking to try my hand at it next. Join me???

I'm geeked about this one's progress because it was only a sliver after my first vinegar batch. Then I had ripped it into two parts when I strained it and washed it off. Def wasn't expecting it to bounce back like this so quick.

She's bad! 🙌🏾

Hahaha!!! Yeahhhhh I thought you'd say that. Scoby's look horrid. My kombucha mother looks worse. 😆

You know what? This doesn't really surprise me. In the heat of the summer of resistance back in 2020, my nonprofit that supports little black/brown girls was getting donations from bridge games over in Ireland. How they found out about us I'll never know but that told me a lot.
