Retired. Many things... presently adding to the level of crochet amigurumi.
Remember having an office in a building with co-workers, spending 8-10 hours in a tiny little cubicle space? And dressing it up with toys to make it less dire?
I just found my old office friends from long ago.
The Dust Puppies have a home, but anybody want other toys?

The last doll is Shinsen, a Japanese Ningyo. Traditionally Ningyo are human head on fish body (with hair as red as blood!), I made a Mahi-Mahi tail AND a special top for traditional. After 1575, the Japanese started to draw them half human and half fish. So Shinsen has a sand shark tail, too.

Themis, the Second doll (I wanted to make her Thetys, a Aegean Goddess from the time of the Trojan war. She informed me she WAS Greek, but only a shapeshifter, nothing like a deity. Humph!)

Noyota Ya Bahari (Star of the Sea) and lives off the coast of Zanzibar. She has shapeshifter abilities and her tail is either Lion Fish or Parrot Fish.
I wish I knew somebody who knew Swahili and could tell me if the name works. Nyota found a loving home some weeks after I finished her.

Let’s do a quick math survey.
US Population = 340 million people.
40 million ~ 12% of the population, includes 16 million underage. The rest receive benefits when their earned income dips because of work availability.
Nobody is sitting on their behind reaping $300 princely dollars a month.

This is a mash-up of Crafty Intentions Doll and "Thicc Mushroom Lady" by Mushroom Fables Crochet.
The instrument came from Australia.
I made this for a beloved friend. inspired by Yulia Ustinova's "Moonlight Piper."
3 years from inspiration to execution.

Finished up an "Anglerfish Fae." I used the Doll pattern by Crafty Intentions and then made the fins using the "Fancy Fish" Crafty Intentions patterns.
There is an actual AnglerfishFae pattern coming out, but I needed it now...
(Lace weight Yarn and a C hook.)

I love everything that Megan makes. Between Geodes and dolls, I'm being very busy.

Made for the Summer Solstice ritual. Sakhmet, the Wandering Goddess.
I used Crafty Intentions Doll Pattern, topped with the Merlion head (Crafty Intentions) and then made the Uraeus consulting the Snake pattern by the same author.

Laughing my head off at you.
I find it entirely ridiculously insane that people cannot let go of their insane, untrue and undocumentable hatred of a good decent politician.
He's got cancer. Her served his country. SHUT UP!

Iconic to my mind is this picture from June 13th and the military protest on the Capitol... Officers arrest a vet with a walker. They handcuff him... AND FORCE HIM TO WALK WITHOUT HIS WALKER AND HIS HANDS FIXED BEHIND HIS BACK. Another officer pushes his walker along.
