A postscript. Not bargains - but WH Smith in Wood Green was where I bought Revolver, then Rubber Soul. 1977 or so. I knew they would be there, and they were. My parents used to go to Wood Green some Saturdays as (then) the biggest Sainsbury's was there.

A copy of Road To Ruin by The Ramones, in a WH Smith near (not in) Victoria Station. Yellow vinyl, 50p (may have been 49p). Probably very early 1979.
